1. Introduction
This Intellectual Property Policy (the "Policy") outlines the rights, obligations, and procedures regarding intellectual property on the Ghar Se platform. Ghar Se Technologies ("Ghar Se," "we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users, partners, and vendors to do the same. This Policy applies to all content, trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property assets used on or in connection with the Ghar Se platform.
2. Ghar Se Trademarks and Copyrights
2.1 Trademarks
- "Ghar Se," the Ghar Se logo, taglines, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks or registered trademarks of Ghar Se Technologies. Nothing on the Platform grants any license or right to use any trademark displayed on the Platform without our prior written permission.
- You may not use, reproduce, modify, or display the Ghar Se trademarks in any manner that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with Ghar Se without express written consent.
- You may not use Ghar Se trademarks in a manner that is misleading, disparaging, or otherwise detrimental to the Ghar Se brand.
2.2 Copyrights
- All content on the Ghar Se platform, including but not limited to software, code, text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, and page layout, is the property of Ghar Se Technologies or its content suppliers and is protected by Pakistani and international copyright laws.
- The compilation of all content on the Platform is the exclusive property of Ghar Se Technologies and is protected by copyright law.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise use any copyrighted content from the Platform without prior written permission from Ghar Se.
3. User-Generated Content Rights
3.1 Ownership
- Users retain ownership of any content they create and submit to the Ghar Se platform, including reviews, ratings, photos, videos, comments, and feedback ("User Content").
- By submitting User Content to the Platform, you grant Ghar Se a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such User Content in connection with the operation of the Platform.
- This license does not affect your ownership rights in your User Content.
3.2 Representations and Warranties
- You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to publish and submit your User Content.
- You represent and warrant that your User Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party.
- You agree to indemnify Ghar Se for any claims arising from your User Content.
4. Reporting Intellectual Property Infringement
If you believe in good faith that any content on the Ghar Se platform infringes your intellectual property rights, you may submit a notice of infringement to our designated agent. To be effective, the notice must include the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work or trademark claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including sufficient information to locate the material on the Platform (e.g., URL, product listing ID).
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the intellectual property owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

5. DMCA / Copyright Notice Process
Ghar Se follows a notice-and-takedown procedure consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable Pakistani laws:
- Receipt of Notice: Upon receipt of a valid infringement notice, Ghar Se will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notification to User: The user who posted the allegedly infringing content will be notified of the takedown and provided with a copy of the infringement notice.
- Counter-Notice: The affected user may submit a counter-notice if they believe the material was removed in error. The counter-notice must include:
- The user's signature (physical or electronic).
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the user has a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- The user's name, address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts in Islamabad, Pakistan.
- Restoration: Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, Ghar Se may restore the removed material after 10-14 business days, unless the original complainant files a court action seeking to restrain the infringement.
6. Consequences for Repeat Infringers
- Ghar Se maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
- A "repeat infringer" is defined as a user who has been the subject of at least three valid infringement complaints.
- Upon determination that a user is a repeat infringer, their account will be terminated, and all associated listings and content will be removed from the Platform.
- Ghar Se reserves the right to terminate any user's account at any time for a single egregious infringement, even if it is the first offense.
- Sellers or vendors who repeatedly list infringing products will have their seller privileges permanently revoked.
7. Third-Party Content
- The Ghar Se platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Ghar Se.
- Ghar Se has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.
- You acknowledge and agree that Ghar Se shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of any third-party content or services.
8. Reservation of Rights
- Ghar Se reserves the right to remove any content from the Platform at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including if we believe that the content infringes intellectual property rights or violates any applicable law.
- Nothing in this Policy shall be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any intellectual property of Ghar Se or any third party.
- Ghar Se reserves all rights not expressly granted in this Policy.
9. Modifications
Ghar Se reserves the right to modify this Intellectual Property Policy at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via the app, website, or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
